By Maintenance Depot Plumbing Team · Last reviewed
Quick answer
The Bisman BMFD24A is a 24" satin linear drain for walk-in, double and rain showers. Its length handles higher flow, and it fits 2" ABS, PVC or cast iron flanges.
Large showers, double showers and walk-in wet rooms need a drain that can keep up. The Bisman 24" x 2-3/4" linear floor drain (BMFD24A) spans more of the shower width for fast, even drainage.

- Wide shower entries, placed across the opening as a water barrier
Installation tips
- Plan the drain position early. A drain across the entry helps keep water inside a curbless shower.
- Fit the 2" flange and trap to the drain line.
- Set the drain level and at the correct height with the feet.
- Waterproof the area thoroughly and slope the floor toward the channel.
Care
Lift the grate and rinse the channel regularly. Clean the satin surface with mild soap and water.
